భారత మాజీ ప్రధానమంత్రి మన్మోహన్ సింగ్‌కు దేశ అత్యున్నత పౌర పురస్కారం ‘భారత రత్న’ ప్రకటించాలంటూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి సిఫార్సు చేస్తూ తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం అసెంబ్లీలో తీర్మానం ప్రవేశపెట్టింది
న్యూస్ లైన్, స్పెషల్ డెస్క్: భారత మాజీ ప్రధాని మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ కి భారత రత్న ఇవ్వాలని అసెంబ్లీ ఏకగ్రీవంగా తీర్మాణం చేసింది. సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డ ప్రతిపాదనకు అన్ని పార్టీలు ఆమోదం తెలిపాయి. ఇక ఆ తీర్మాణం కేంద్రం దృష్టికి రాష్ట్రప్రభుత్వం తీసుకెళ్లింది. మరో వైపు అసెంబ్లీ లో సభ్యులు మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ కు ఘనంగా నివాళులు అర్పించారు.
వృద్ధాప్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతూ ఇటీవల కన్నుమూసిన భారత మాజీ ప్రధానమంత్రి మన్మోహన్ సింగ్‌కు దేశ అత్యున్నత పౌర పురస్కారం ‘భారత రత్న’ ప్రకటించాలంటూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి సిఫార్సు చేస్తూ తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం అసెంబ్లీలో తీర్మానం ప్రవేశపెట్టింది. అయితే ఈ తీర్మానానికి విపక్ష బీ ఆర్ ఎస్ మద్దతు తెలిపింది. మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ కు సంతాపం తెలంగాణ అసెంబ్లీలో మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ కు నివాళులు అర్పించడం కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా సమావేశమయ్యారు. సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ దేశానికి అందించిన సేవలను కొనియాడారు. దేశ ఆర్ధిక వ్యవస్థ ఇప్పుడు బాగుందంటే అది మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ వల్లే అని తెలిపారు. 1991-96 మధ్య దేశ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థను వృద్ధిబాట పట్టించారని కొనియాడారు.
